Internet Explorer Toolbar

The figure above shows what the Internet Explorer 3.01 toolbar looks like in Windows 3.1 and Windows 95. The color scheme on your PC may be different but the elements will be the same. The icon that starts Internet Explorer Email (IMail) is the rightmost button. You will need to click on the icon indicated above to begin IMail.

When you click on this icon the initial IMail pop up menu (below) appears.

IMail Pop Up Menu. The following initial menu options are available:

Read Mail (begin here)
Opens up the full IMail Interface.

This is the most commonly used option.

New Message
Opens up a blank Send Message Dialog Box for use.
Send a Link
Sends the current hypertext link viewed in the Internet Explorer via IMail using the Send Message Dialog Box.
Read News
Opens up the Internet Explorer News Reader.
