<PRE> Command

Command Syntax:
<PRE>
a block of preformatted text
</PRE>

Renders enclosed preformatted text in a non-proportionally spaced font as a block and preserves all of the original spacing within the block.

Forces the font size to the browser's default for the defined non-proportionally spaced font, generally Courier New 10 point.

A suitable alternative to a table for alignment of simple text.

The enclosed preformatted is rendered as a block of text in a non-proportinally spaced font and all spacing is preserved:

b. Bananas                d. Pears
