Mom. Fifty. Born and raised in the little
coal and steel town of Charleroi, PA, on the Monongahela River south of
Pittsburgh. "Kay" is a Registered Physical Therapist with a specialty
in pediatrics working for the Davidson County School System in Lexington,
NC, and in in-home care settings around "the County." She cantors at Our
Lady of Mercy Church in Winston-Salem, NC. She's our rock.

23 years old. "Christopher" was a compromise but it's a good name for
all that. He was named for the Ellisons. "Chris" is a graduate
of the North Carolina School of the Arts in Winston-Salem
with a major in operatic voice. He is a marvelous tenor/baritone and he's

20 years old. "Maggie" is named for her maternal Great Aunt, Margaret
Ellison, and for her paternal Grandmother, Amy Isabel Plokhooy Hein. She
will be a junior at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro studying
toward a Bachelor's degree in English. She is an excellent writer and a
bit of a chanteuse.

17 years old. Oren means "pine" in Hebrew for his dad's love of the
New Jersey Pinelands and for his paternal Great Grandmother, Isabel
Dugdale. David is his baptismal name. He will be a senior at North
Davidson High School in Midway, NC. Oren is a very talented graphic

15 years old. "Robbie" was named in memory of his maternal
Grandfather, Robert Valerian Ellison - a true gentleman. He will be a sophomore
at the North Davidson High School in Midway, NC. He's
also a budding HTML developer and wants to be a rocket scientist.
